Minerali Industriali is a private Group, set up in the ’70 with a first plant in Piedmont Region (Northern Italy) for the production of silica sand for glass industry.
Today the Group has several production units located in North and Centre Italy, Sardinia Island, Tunisia, Egypt, United Kingdom, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Turkey.
In 2017 the Group has sold around 3,5 million tons of raw materials: feldspar, silica sand, clay and kaolin for the glass and ceramic (tiles and sanitary ware) industries, frits and painting.
Minerali Industriali mines big ore deposits, through long period mining leases, and realize industrial treatment to prepare raw materials not immediately usable.
Minerali Industriali invests a considerable portion of the turnover each year for the new projects and for the research in new technology, in order to follow in the best way the customers’ present and future needs.
Thank to the technical expertises developed also in collaboration with Universities and Politechnics, Minerali Industriali offers a substantial flexibility that permits both the work out of different and specific solutions for each customer and the building of turn key mineral treatment plants.
