A workshop reserved to Assomineraria's Associate Members was organised on the 10th of December 2003 with the title "Corporate Social Responsibility-CSR".
The seminar, promoted by the Commission on Legal Affairs, had the objective to inform Associate Members on the importance of adopting a managerial system based on corporate social responsibility and able to reconcile ethics and profits: a profit generated respecting ethical rules could contribute in a decisive way to the economic and social development. The current environment is ideal to consider this path as a real and stimulating challenge to the managerial abilities of a company that wishes to pursue, together with a profit, a competitiveness based on strong values.
