The annual meeting, organised together with the "Manufacturers and Suppliers of Equipments and Services" Section of Assomineraria, during which the Gulf Publishing Company presented its 2005 forecast for the world oil & gas industry was held in San Donato Milanese on the 4th of february 2004. This meeting is a traditional event for the Italian operators and this year it was of particular interest due to the upward trend recorded by the oil price in 2004 that reached the level of 50$/bbl.
The Gulf Publishing analysts have expressed their views on the impact of the current supply/demand situation on the level of investments in the oil & gas sector in 2005. The meeting was introduced by Paolo Campo, Chairman of the "Manufacturers and Suppliers of Equipments and Services" Section of Assomineraria. Andrea Ketoff, General Manager, presented the 2005 forecast for Italy, elaborated by the "Hydrocarbons and Geothermal" Section of Assomineraria.
